Board of intermediate and secondary education Azad Jammu and Kashmir (BISE AJK) came into existence in 1973 by the Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir in Pakistan. Jammu and Kashmir Council is also known as BISE Mirpur which is a very important educational board in Pakistan. BISE AJK conducted its first examination of intermediate and secondary level in 1974. Board is serving for a long time to provide a quality of education to all students. the jurisdiction of AJK board includes: Mirpur, Muzaffarabad, Kotli, Poonch, Neelam and Bhimber. Board conducts exams of intermediate and secondary level every year. Board is responsible to conduct exams of both private and regular students simultaneously. It is compulsory all students to get registered with board in order to appear in examination.
