Board of intermediate and secondary education Lahore was established in era of 1954. Lahore board is considered as one of the oldest and most renown board of Pakistan. BISE Lahore board has a responsibility of conducting exams and declaring results of these exams. Board is working with an aim to provide a quality of education to all students. Lahore board conducts exams of both intermediate and secondary level. The jurisdiction of board includes: Lahore, Kasur, Nankana sahib and sheikhupura. Before the establishment of other boards Lahore board was responsible of conducting exams in all provinces of Punjab, Baluchistan, Gilgit Baltistan.
Board also arranges prize distribution ceremony for toppers to increase their morals and encourage their hard word. Now board has also introduced the method of online registration for the convenient of students. It is a necessary for all candidates to get registered for matric exams in order to appear in final exams.

The board of intermediate and secondary education Lahore has not announced the date sheet of matric yet. But it is expected that date sheet will be announced in a month of February 2024. After this exam will be conducted after one month of announcement of date sheet. Board usually conducts exams of matric in a month of March 2024.
