It is to inform you that BISE Gujranwala board 10th class date sheet 2024 for final exams will be announced in January. Usually the educational body announces the date sheet every year for the respective level almost one month before the commencement so for this year it is also expected that it will be announced by the officials in the start of January while the exams of 10th class will begin in first week of March.
As soon as the date sheet will be revealed by the authorities we will upload it here for the convenience of students. Afterwards, the aspirants can view the date sheet online or can download it from the respective board page.
As, only few months left in exams so the pressure on the students for exams is increasing day by day because it is the wish of every student to get good marks in the exams so that they will be able to get admission in one of the best institutes and in their desirous course as well and in the other case if they doesn’t get succeeded in getting good grades they are unable to get admission in good educational institutes.
For the better preparation of exams, it is mandatory for all the students (both regular and private) to make a proper study timetable and to give equal time to each subject. First of all it is necessary for the students to get some know how about the grading scheme of 10th class papers set by the Gujranwala board.
From last few years, Gujranwala board is organizing the exams of matriculation level in parts and the grading scheme of both parts done accordingly. The division of marks in 10th class is a little bit different from the marks division of 9th class. The overall marks in 10th class for science group are 415 while after including the 90 marks of practical’s the total for 10th class become 505. Though, the total marks of matriculation (including marks of both 9th and 10th) are 1100.
In science and arts group the marks for English, Urdu, Islamiat and Pakistan studies are same while the marks of elective subjects are different. Each papers comprises of three important sections including multiple choice question, short question and long question. The MCQs portion covers 20 percent marks; short question covers 50 percent marks and long questions covers 30% marks. The objection section in the papers mainly comes from the important topics so it is better for the aspirants to go through the whole chapter for better preparations.
It is also pertinent to mention here that the educational body organizes the exams for both external and internal candidates. Though, the external candidates are only permitted to appear in the exams of arts group. It is necessary for all the students living in Gujranwala and in jurisdiction areas to get registered by the board before appearing in exams. BISE Gujranwala also handles the educational activities of some other districts of Punjab which includes Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, Narowal, Hafizabad and Sialkot.
